About Anastasia
Hello, you struggling math student. I am Anastasia and I am here to help you fight math anxiety and succeed in your class.
Math has always excited me, but I would get way more excited when it "clicks" for someone when I explain math to them.
I offer Calculus I and II tutoring, as I want to see that "click" for you. My goal is for you to understand what is going on, rather than just parrot what I say and forget it after the exam. I have already helped 30+ students understand math, so I try my best to ensure you actually UNDERSTAND what is going on.
In my free time, I upload fun math videos on YouTube and Twitter ((concealed information)
I have been working as a Learning Assistant at Florida Atlantic University, where I would also take weekly pedagogy classes with my supervisor.

With a new student, my goal is to understand the main weakness in math and see the root of the problem. I tend to ask students questions to see exactly what area needs improvement. After I have Identified what causes the main problem, we would start to catch up on the material. I also love giving my students study guides and checklists.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. Am I putting in enough work to understand the material?
2. What exactly do I struggle with? (many students take calculus to find out they struggle with algebra)
