About Zachary
I'm 27 and was always a great student during school having graduated with honors and taken many AP courses. I have some college for Business but am more competent with grade school material for teaching.
I worked at a daycare while taking classes at a community college in Marcellus, since I was on hiatus from New Paltz at the time. It taught me a lot about teaching different age groups and how kids absorb information differently, even kids the same age might learn at separate places.

Once we've figured out what the subject and material are, I like to start learning more about how this particular student learns or takes in the information. Some students are more visual learners while others can learn from technical knowledge itself, maybe just worded in a different but easier to understand sort of way.
Everyone is different but I've found reaching a positive, open and communicative point with new students can help bridge the gap to learning some kids feel while in a school setting or class.
