About Barry
We specialize in AP Calculus. With over 30 years of teaching high school math and over 10 years of teaching AP Calc, we believe our experience will help solve every problem.
I started teaching high school the same year I graduated college.
I have a Bachelor Degree in Education with a major in mathematics. I have over 30 years of teaching math at the high school level along with 10 years of teaching AP Calculus.

I first try to figure out what the cause of confusion is. It could be from lack of understanding of previous courses to lack of understanding witht he current concept. I then try to address the problem.
I have worked with all ranges of high school math students. From Algebra 1 up to AP Calculus. I am currently looking to tutor students in AP Calculus or college level Calculus 1.
Look for a tutor that has experience. Just because a person has taken and passed the class does not mean that person will be someone who can explain it in detail.
Since retiring from the classroom, I missed that connection of seeing a student have success in math. I recently got into tutoring to reconnect with students.
