About
I'm Ian Boenisch, I just finished my sophomore year and I really enjoy teaching others things that I am interested in. I enjoy math, but dislike the way textbooks teach the material. I feel that it is mechanical, hard to understand, and sometimes just plain boring. My goal is to make math enjoyable (or not as insufferable) by explaining it in the way that my Mom taught it to me. In a way that flows and makes sense by listening to the student and connecting the text to their current understanding. As I said, my Mother is an excellent example of this and conincedentally, she was also a math tutor. I am confident that I can help students excell at the most important of the STEM family, and show them how to study and instruct themselves in whatever they choose to do.
