About Leona
I homeschooled for 12 years then taught at Christian school for 13 years. Math is my favorite subject to teach, and I have taught all grades of math except 11th and 12th.
I enjoy helping students break through barriers and see that they can succeed in subjects that they thought they were not particularly good in.

The first time I meet with a student I do an assessment to discover their weak areas and how best to address them. Once we determine what to work on, I use practice problems to help the student become comfortable and confident with the things that have been giving them difficulty at school.

What I loved about working with Learning Like Crazy is that she has a wonderful way of explaining the material in a way that is easy to understand. Personally, I struggle in the area of mathematics so having someone who could explain it in a way that I could comprehend was very much appreciated.
Learning like crazy is passionate about helping students understand material, not just recite back facts.
