About Kimmie
I have been a math teacher, both at high schools and community colleges. Currently, I am a substitute teacher at a local high school. I sub because I love teaching math but don't want to do it full time.
I took Spanish in high school and college, and having lived in California since 1978, I have had many opportunities to practice in various situations. I really enjoy it because fluent Spanish speakers have always been so delighted that I TRY! They always encourage me, patiently correct my mistakes, and I appreciate their kindness so much! I practice Spanish on Duolingo everyday!
I have considered teaching English for ESL students in an Adult Education, but my preference is to work with Spanish speakers. So, I thought I would try tutoring!
