About Priscilla
I love when students feel confident in their Math skills and when they can see progress from their learning. My teaching is fast based and students seem to understand how to use their confidence to persevere with hard Math questions.
I enjoy the way that Math can be incorporated into everyday life. I also love when the light bulb goes off in students' minds when they come to the conclusion that they understand something
I have always wanted to be a teacher. I knew from a very young age that this was my career by choice. I studied Education for six years a Christian Brothers University and it was the perfect school for me to follow my goals.
I have a Masters degree in Education and eight years working in public schools for mutiple cities across the United States. I have spent 8 years teaching Mathematics for mainly 5th through 9th grade students.

The process would begin with our basic introduction and make sure everyone is comfortable. The next step would be understanding what the student needs to be academically successful.
I have worked with all kinds of students. I have taught in multiple cities and being able to experience cultural differences allows me to be a better educator.
I would hire a teacher that the student can grow from. One they feel comfortable with and choosing a teacher based on their needs.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students could start by understanding their needs. They could ask themselves questions based on recent test scores, how they perform in class, what are their favorite classes, why are they interested in some subjects more than others.
