About Priththi

Hi! I’m a second-year university student studying Economics and Accounting with previous experience tutoring students of different ages and abilities.

I offer 11+ tutoring in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. I understand that preparing for the 11+ can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to make lessons clear, structured and encouraging.

I’m patient and adapt my teaching depending on how each student learns best. I particularly enjoy identifying the areas a student finds difficult and helping them improve through clear explanations, examples and regular practice.

I also believe confidence is an important part of 11+ preparation. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning from them rather than feeling pressured to get everything right straight away.

My goal is to help each student strengthen their weaker areas, develop their exam skills and feel much more confident when it comes to their 11+ exam.

About the lesson

My 11+ lessons are personalised to each student and focus on building both their knowledge and confidence in Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

I usually begin each lesson with around 15 minutes of starter questions covering different 11+ skills. This allows me to check the student's current understanding and identify any areas they are finding difficult.

We then focus on the topics that need the most improvement. I explain methods step by step, work through examples with the student and then give them questions to attempt independently. Towards the end of the lesson, we return to similar questions from the starter to check their progress and make sure they now feel confident answering them.

As students progress, I also introduce exam-style questions, timed practice and 11+ techniques to help them become more comfortable working under exam conditions.

My aim is to identify weaknesses early, strengthen them through regular practice and help each student feel confident and prepared for their 11+ exams.
