My preference is to get an idea of what the student already knows and what they are interested in becoming educated about. To do this I send a questionnaire for them to fill out that helps me design a course syllabus for the proper training for them individually versus a box class that everyone would get. It is important to not waste time spending hours on something that is already known when we can spend time learning something new. I would like to set up one day per week or bi-weekly to have instruction, then let the student go practice and do some work on their own, come back and we discuss and talk about what is right and wrong ...then go on to the next thing. I like to make sure every topic of instruction is very well understood before moving on to the next. I look forward to working with you and absolutely love teaching others and watching as they advance their knowledge and skills in the profession!
