The class was fun and easy for beginners to feel comfortable about learning about the camera and its functions. Although I took the class a few years ago, I still remember and use many of the techniques and lessons learned that day when taking pictures today. Would highly recommend if you are new to photography with a DSLR camera.

This was my intro to my DSLR. Although I had been doing some research on the in and outside of my camera weeks before, Mr. Gillespie's class was what really put all the pieces together for me. With his clear explanations and hands on examples, and patience to answer all questions, I felt more than ready to move on from the basics. Mr. Gillespie's class really is worth attending.

TJ has amazing skill in photography and teaching. Class size was small so we had individuized attention directed to our level. We have taken two classes and would definitely recommend.

Such an amazing experience! At the time Photography was a maze to me. I couldn’t figure out what settings that I needed to put the camera on to get a correct exposure. He walked us through everything! ISO, SHUTTER SPEED, APETURE and more. What a great instructor. Needles to say that I eventually started doing Wedding Photography.

TJ was a great instructor. He held class in a vibrant, colorful area with a lot of great opportunities for taking great pictures. I'm a complete novice and he was very patient with me, explaining things until I understood them, even if he had to repeat himself. The best class for camera’s. Period

TJ is an amazing instructor. I have taken 3 of his classes and recommend him to all my friends. He likes small groups so he can give each student his individual attention. In the Beginners Photography class you move from shooting photos in auto to manual. He teaches you theory and then it is all about hands on practice. The majority of the class was taking pictures that cover all the material being tought. I truly left the class with a clear understanding on how a camera works. I also took his composition class.
