About Zachary
As a performing opera singer throughout the west coast and a private music instructor, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my lessons. Not only do my students receive education in their primary instrument but also gain knowledge in all aspects of general music. I love seeing the joy come over student's faces when they realize what they are able to accomplish.
I began giving private lessons while gaining my music education degree and fell in love with seeing the joy in student's faces when they realize how much potential they have.
Bachelors in Music Education Masters in Vocal performance 13 years of performance experience

5-10 minutes of gaining background information from the student as well as future goals. 15-20 minutes of exercises to determine students range as well as beginning technique training. 20-30 minutes of continuing technique as well as beginning to find repertoire to learn.
I have worked with students of all ages and levels.
When looking for a private music teacher, it is important that the student and teacher mesh well together. Music can be a very personal hobby or profession and with that you want to make sure that your instructor not only in knowledgeable but also is personable.
Twice a year my students give a recital to showcase what they have been working on and to give them the experience of performing in front of others.
