About Paolo
After teaching piano face to face for 5 years then transitioning to online education for the past 4 years, I can say I've learned how to be an even more effective teacher. I work well with any student especially those who put in the same effort into practicing as I do to in teaching, helping even some get into artist scholarship programs as well as music degree programs.
I'm an experienced performer visiting countries like Japan, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, France, Russia, and most recently, Taiwan. I don't share only how to get good at playing. I share experiences. What I've been through as a musician. And in the process, hopefully giving my students a better image of where their efforts are heading towards. I treat each student like a friend making sure each is paid attention to and feeling comfortable during the lesson.
Sight reading, technique, interpretation, periodic style, and theory are just some of what I teach in my lessons. I focus mainly on classical but am open to teaching broadway, pop, and jazz standards.
