Dr. Sarah Heger is not only highly qualified and an excellent pianist, but she also has decades of experience in teaching. From the very first lesson I was struck by her dedication, her enthusiasm and her ability to make everything crystal clear. She inspires me to practice with her choice of pieces and exercises and spurs my interest in learning more about classical music, watching great pianists playing concertos on YouTube. She is flexible about scheduling the lessons around my busy schedule. As a teacher she has exceeded my expectations. I am very glad I found her. I started piano lessons with Dr. Heger two weeks ago as an adult beginner with no prior musical experience, and I've already learned how to read notes and play some basic songs. She is a really great teacher! Before I started lessons, the thought of being able to play piano seemed overwhelming and impossible, but Dr. Heger does such a good job of taking you through it step by step. I'm making progress way faster than I expected and look forward to continuing lessons.
