About Francesco

I am passionate about music and physics. I look for similar relationships across different fields which I use in my teaching to find the best analogy to connect the student to their desired learning goal.

As a pianist, I enjoy the beauty and technicality of classical music the most. I also love to improvise whether it be on classical themes or modern pop.

Please see my YouTube for samples of my work: (concealed information)

I started to play piano and accordion when I was 12. Then, I attended the high school 'Archita' in Taranto, where I learnt piano, musical theory, musicology, musical analysis. Moreover, in a stimulating environment, we organized several sessions of group music and shows.

About the lesson

With a new student, I check out his background about the instrument (piano or accordion), musical theory, and his knowledge of cover. After this, it is very important to understand the student's targets, in particular, which kind of music he wishes to play

The primary advice is to look for a teacher that can teach how to improvise in the style you want, in order to give the base that allows exploring the instrument by yourself: the student must learn to play by himself, without the teacher.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I student should ask himself:

1. Which kind of music or which songs I want to play
2. Do I want to build a solid musical knowledge or build a practical 'know-how' of the piano?
3. Do I have at least 1h per day with enough mental energy to practice?
