About Holton
I have over 10 years of experience in performance with brass instruments. This along with my experience in vocal and piano performance gives me a well rounded experience base to approach education. I will modify my education approach to the goals of the student, rather than predetermined goals of text based education.
I enjoy being able to spread music by educating those who want to know more. Being able to play music for anyone is an amazing skill at any level, and should be shared with everyone.
I have worked with many schools from MS to LA helping bands run their camps. I have taught many private Brass and Piano lessons throughout the years. As a performer I have traveled to New York and Korea as a Collegiate Choral Bass. And have travelled throughout the South with USM's Bands.

The first lesson we will look at what the students goals are. I will then issue some fundamental excercises or literature assignments based on the goal. From there I will continue to evaluate and develop assignments that are centered towards the student's goal.
