About Christopher
Hi, my name is Christopher Taylor I currently attend Las Vegas Academy of the Arts (a prestigious school for the arts) and study piano. I have 8 years of experience and have competed in many competitions held at UNLV and various other locations. I teach classical piano to beginner and intermediate pianists. I prepare my students for competitions and make sure they are well-trained in every detail of a piece. For beginners, I typically start my students off by teaching them the basic qualities of the piano as well as how to read sheet music and such. For intermediate players, I will examine your playing and where you are at as far as your skill level and then go from there suggesting which pieces will strengthen your more weak areas. My goal is to place my students in qualifying competitions. However I have also taught more relaxed students who simply wish to learn for the fun of the instrument.
