I suggest scheduling one lesson before making a commitment. The student can experience a lesson with me and see if they want to continue. I can also evaluate the student and make recommendations. Sometimes young children aren't mature enough for private lessons, or it could be that we aren't a good fit and I can recommend a different teacher.
All ages from children to adults, amateurs, pre-professionals, and professionals.
Read the biography of the teacher very carefully to determine if they are a professional singer, if they have a degree, how many years they have been teaching, if they play the piano, and what their students' accomplishments are.
Seeing my student Jake performing in "Love Never Dies" at the Hippodrome Theater in Baltimore.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It's really up to each individual student. Most students (and parents) want to know about tuition, billing practices, flexibility in scheduling, performance opportunities, etc.
