About Audrey
Hi everyone! I am a Columbia grad and current Masters of Music student at Mannes studying piano performance. I started teaching a few years ago, and I not only strive to be an effective instructor, but I also hope to serve as a mentor to my students. Having graduated from Columbia last year with a degree in Political Science, I firmly believe that music is inseparable from most other disciplines. My teaching style reflects this in that I strive to use nonmusical references to heighten my students' perception and understandings of music. I am a highly patient, kind, and organized person, and I have a deep love of teaching. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Learning music is a deeply personal process! Everyone learns differently, and as a teacher, I strive to tailor my teaching tactics to the particularity of all of my students. I start by getting to know you, we have a talk about your musical goals, and then we discuss pieces to play and get started!
