I have been working with Rose City Piano Studio for many years now, and I have had the most wonderful experience learning piano. Jessica is a fantastic teacher. She is professional, patient, kind, understanding, and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. She truly values the progress of her students and their hard work. She motivates me to practice regularly to be prepared for every lesson, and I see the constant progress in my piano skills. Her lessons require you to put in effort into your playing, and it really pays off. My technique skills and knowledge of music theory has greatly improved as I've worked with her. I fully endorse learning under Jessica.

Jess is my favorite kind of teacher: a mentor who identifies what's important to you, and offers practical information and structured guidance to help you learn in your own way. Her engaging conversational style makes sessions not just productive, but enjoyable too.

I also like the presentation of the lessons. Jess has a professional setup that allows her to talk with you face-to-face while sharing lesson content in split-screen, or displaying a direct view of her keyboard. I'm a college student taking remote classes. This is by far the best distance learning format I've encountered.

If you want an experienced piano teacher who will truly work with you as an individual, I can strongly recommend Rose City Piano Studio.

Jessica is a skilled , patient and compassionate teacher. I began piano instruction with her after a 59 year break since my childhood lessons and she knew just how to work with me, always encouraging. I highly recommend Rose City Piano

Jessica is amazing! Her love of music is obvious, and infectious. She's also incredibly patient, and tailors her lessons to her students' ability. I swear I'm practically tone deaf, but I've learned so much more under her than my previous teachers!
