About James

My passion is to teach students of all ages how to play the piano with confidence. I have been playing the piano/keyboard for over 30 years. I have worked as a touring musician, studio musician, MD and worship leader for large and small churches.

I have equipped and mentor hundreds of musicians over the years. Including some that are now full time musicians, recording artist and church music directors.

I am the founder of WorshpKeys PRO... an online piano course that teaches you everything you need to know to learn the piano and to play with confidence.

To learn more, checkout my website at (concealed information) I also have a YouTube channel where I show you how to play songs for free... check it out at (concealed information)

I love helping and seeing people reach their full potential!

I have been a professional musician for over 25 years and have been teaching for 15 years.

About the lesson

I work with first-time student and intermediate students that want to get better. We start with the basic (scales, major and minor chords, numbers, etc...) to lay a strong foundation and build from there.

I have worked with students who were at different skill levels including young kids to adults.

Before you hire a teacher, 1) know what results you want 2) and ask a lot of questions to make sure they can help you get there.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.

Perfect! Excellent knowledge. Easy to understand. I have been searching fir over 10 years for someone that would accommodate my schedule and also understand where I was in my learning. I am so excited to learn and my lessons have been very productive. James is professional but yet personal to the point where I am not nervous about learning. I am blessed to have him as a pro!

Perfect! I have been looking for a teacher for over 10 years and James’ teaching style is exactly what I need. He is clear, precise in explaining and has a broad knowledge that allowed him to readily target my strengths and weaknesses in just one lesson! He is pleasant to work with and I am so looking forward to my journey in learning to play music for my church. He is truly a blessing!

The sessions are so on point to my particular needs. There is often little time to spend learning the often detailed techniques of songs and particular pieces...Piano Secrets takes the guess work and frustration out of learning. I’m able to catch on quickly and spend that time elsewhere. Quality training, ease of use, measurable growth!

I started taking piano lessons at the beginning of the year. I played for almost a decade beginning at the age of 6.
I'm so beyond excited and my heart is singing every time I leave my weekly lesson. Music is a joy that can not be described and is a balm for the heart. So grateful to have found an amazing instructor. Can't wait to begin to play for my family and loved ones!

Overall the course was very informative and beneficial. The chords and songs were taught step by step. I am feeling confident as a piano player. I would recommend the course to anyone who is ready to expand and feel more confident.
