About Anya
I grew up studying in Russia, in a traditional music school for piano. Once moving to America, I continued my education with one of the best teachers who was published in the Russian encyclopedia of best musicians. I have won numerous state piano competitions, and had many performances. I am able to teach your children in Russian and in English.
I have always loved to teach, so for me it came natural. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and watching my students not just get better, but find happiness in their outcome.
I have 18 years of piano playing experience. I have competed and won numerous competitions, received awards for outstanding performance, and put out many performances.

I take the time to notice their behavior, and choose my teaching method based on the way they act. Every student is different, and they all need a different approach. At the end of the day they need to be able to enjoy piano, and enjoy the process of learning otherwise it will all be a waste.
Younger students, mostly. I prefer beginners because we can both find out own approach and grow together.
Make sure that you are comfortable with the teacher, and they allow you to explore what you are interested in but also guide you and provide structure in order for you to learn.
