About Pamela
Pamela Cajka has been teaching private lessons for 6 years. She is full-time choir teacher with a degree in K-12 Music Education and currently working on a Masters of Music Education. She specializes in beginning and intermediate students.
I started teaching piano lessons during my undergrad to make some extra money. I fell in love with it and knew it was something I wanted to do long term.
I personally took piano lessons for 12 years and have taught for 6 years. I have my bachelor's degree in K-12 Music Education and currently am working on my Masters of Music Education. I have coached several students for auditions for musical theater and other vocal performances.

First lesson, we establish the student's music experience and figure out what level piano books to start with. Most of this lesson is getting to know you and piano basics.
I have worked with students of all ages. I usually tell parents to wait to start piano/voice lessons until Kindergarten, so some reading basics are established.

Details
One half hour lesson is $25. I suggest that piano/voice students have one hour lessons. If you are wanting both piano and voice, I suggest a hour lesson which is $45.
