Dru is an awesome instructor. I have been taking quilt lessons from her for a little over 2 years. She is very knowledgeable and has taught me so much.

I had no personal experience quilting, and in the beginning even simplest of patterns challenged me. Dru knows what she is doing, and in a very relaxed, friendly way she saw me through my first project! Afterwards, she helped me choose my new sewing machine, and I was not only working on class projects, but confidently quilting personal projects as well.

I have since moved out if state, but I have to admit, one of the things I miss most about “home” is the quilting classes at Teays River Quilting. If you’re considering classes, I personally think Dru is one of the best.

My favorite thing about the quilting class is that Miss Dru is sooooo patient and kind. I had no idea how to even turn on my machine.. she is the best!💗💗💗💗
