About Joe
I want to help students gain access to the ability to understand and communicate harmonies in any context. Ear training and teaching perfect pitch are my specialties. I've been playing alto sax for over 12 years and graduated from Eastman School of Music. I've studied with countless professionals like Gary Versace, Charles Pillow, Dan Willis, Bob Snieder. Passing on knowledge to the next generation and helping a student achieve a new depth of understanding to the music is what I hope to get out of this
The most satisfying part of playing an instrument is being able to connect and converse with other musicians, working to create a larger piece of music. If I could help students understand this great joy it would be my great pleasure
