About Peter

I absolutely love working with kids of all ages. And adults, as needed. I have 20+ years experience working with kids individually, in teams, with schools etc. I follow in my dad's footsteps and have the same connection with players, just as he did all those years ago. I've also played the game in Ireland (from Galway) and Scotland (where I worked).

When my son turned 4, he wanted to play Soccer, as I did way back when. So I coached him and then Coached each team (Club / School) he played on up til he was 21 and went to College. I also coached my girls.

I have a NSCAA National Diploma, which equates to a Class D License.

About the lesson

I'm very personable and so my priority is the connection with the player AND the parent. I like to meet the player 1st for a session and see if we can work well together. If we can, then we put together a plan of action, that suits everyone.

1:1 boys and girls 5-15

Club teams 5-21

High School boys and girls Varsity and JV

Soccer camps

Your coach has to have played the game of soccer at a young age and have gotten formal training to get the specific qualifications to call themselves a Coach.

Hugs from players..... can't get any better than that. Or, a card from two brothers, that's now my computer desktop pic. Or an invite to a players marriage..... need I go on :)

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What can you do for me?

What experience have you?

What coaching successes have you?

How do you connnect with your players?

What's the most important thing you can tell me?

Hi Coach, At Jameson’s club practice they happen to be doing a lot of defensive drills and Jay looked really good- he attacked hard, got in a good stance and did very well even against some of the best attackers on his team. Great start for him tonight and it’s down to you Coach Peter. Thank you for your continued interest and focus on J.

He explained the drills and their overall importance as part of the bigger game. He was able to pick up little mechanic errors and help correct them.

Peter has a great knowledge base of the game and an effective way to communicate that knowledge to the players and other coaches. Peter is observant, supportive, and able to provide targeted feedback that helps players improve. We very much enjoyed working with Peter and feel the players effectiveness improved from his coaching

Coach is genuinely interested in seeing my child improve. He works my son for the entire time they are together giving feedback and instruction. There is no wasted time. After each session I get a written summary and suggestions as to what we need to work on. You can tell that he loves what he does and that feeling translates into a wonderful coach and mentor.
