About Bridget

Softball and sports in general have always been my passion. It instills more than just athleticism, but also skills and characteristics that will translate into all aspects of becoming a young member of society. My work ethic and who I am as a person would not be what it is if I hadn't played softball. And I want other young ladies to know how great of an impact sports in general can have on them.

I played fastpitch softball for 13 years, including all four years at the collegiate level (NJCAA and NCAA D2). I can meet in person or do virtual lessons and I'm very flexible with my schedule and will make it work for you. I can do both hitting and defensive practice, along with pitching lessons. If you need someone to talk about and mentor about outside references to help your daughter succeed, I can do that as well. (Talk about weightlifting, conditioning, school tutors, etc). I know how to play every position, but I primarily played middle infield, was a pitcher, and also played outfield. I was used everywhere in the lineup from lead off, to clean up, to deeper end of lineup for more consistent hits. I coached for one season (high school varsity snd JV level) after moving home after graduating college followed with a handful of months of private lessons after college, but moved out of state before the second season started.

Anything you need help with, I feel more than comfortable and enthusiastic to work with you, even college recruiting.

My old high school's AD reached out asking if id be interested being the assistant coach for the varsity and junior varsity following my college graduation. Anything I can do to stay a part of the softball world is something that I want to do.

I've played Fastpitch softball for 13 years, doing my own lessons, taking lessons during those 13 years, I also coached a JV and Varsity high school season before marrying my husband and moving out of state.

About the lesson

I like doing an initial lesson and seeing where they are skill level wise and going from there. I may what their goals or what they are wanting to accomplish and then we narrowed down those goals so we can work on the best way to approach how do achieve those goals and set a time and numerical goal.

I have done private lessons with beginners, group lessons with a mix of beginners and "familiar-to-the-sport" levels. Most time during my one year of coaching high school was focused more on the less experienced players, where the more experienced players could continue doing their own thing and getting help when they asked/during drills.

The WCWS providing a large audience to the world of softball is something I have been delighted to observe for these past handful of years. Now professional softball teams are expanding (OKC Spark whoop!), and more fans are being welcomed to this sport!

I charge either hourly or per lesson and although I'd like to keep a specific range, I try my best to work with parents and coaches because I know How expensive teams and equipment are already, and that parents are willing to work whatever they need to in order to provide for their children and I admire that greatly because I know that's what my dad did for me.
