About Sabrina

I am a English teacher from Argentina. I have been teaching from 2013 to students from different levels and ages. Teaching is a passion for me.

What I enjoy most about my job is the dynamic and how it changes either with a student or a group. I think that keeping students motivated is a challenge. As I love challenges, motivating students is also something I love about teaching.

I started teaching in a private English instute in my city. I was a really rewarding experience. I won't ever forget my first students!

I studied English teaching in a well-known university in Argentina. My degree is on Teaching English as a Second and Foreign Language. I have also experience in teaching Spanish, my mother tongue as I did some workshops related to the learning and teaching of Spanish.

About the lesson

I like meeting students' goals first. According to the objectives, I plan my classes. My classes follow the European Curriculum Framework in which there is always emphasis on the four macro language skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening).

I have worked with students from different levels and ages with different objectives and from different contexts. I work with children, teens and adults who want to learn English or Spanish for pleasure or who want to sit for international exams such as First Certificate or CELU.

If you are interested in learning a language, look for a teacher. Sometimes, it is more prestigious to look for natives because it is assumed that they are proficient in their language and their expertise is high. This assumption may be true. Yet, in my opinion natives and teaching do not always go hand by hand. Though, teachers ,be them natives or non natives, have studied the language in depth and are more prepared to solve teaching/learning issues.

I am working for Corcordia Language Villages as a Spanish Credit teacher. I am very proud of my students results during the summer sessions.
