About Dennisse
Hello, my name is Dennisse and I love working with children of all ages. Teaching my language makes me so happy! I have worked as a Therapeutic Spanish translator in the past, a mentor of college students at Saint Xavier University , and believe these positions have prepare me to be a great tutor. I'm burgos certified. Please feel free to contact me via email at: (concealed information) with any questions! I look forward to working with you and your child!
I started teaching when I was 19 years old as a mentor for the TRIO program. I held office hours once a week for a few hours and tutor students.

When working with a new student I will have an intake form for the parent to fill out. In this form I will ask questions regarding the childs education in regards to the language they're trying to learn. It is important for me to have a clear understanding of what level the student is on and what the student wants to focus on as well as how they learn best. I will then have the option to have a 15 minute video call to formally introduce myself and talk about the intake form, however it is not required. Sessions will then be schedule.
I will advice the student to be open to expressing his/her needs to his tutor. A tutor must understand what the student wants to focus on, and how the student learns best in order to be able to help.
