About Zachary
I love lightbulb moments! Teaching foreign language is one of my favorite things to do and it brings me a lot of joy to see it finally click when I'm working through a problem or a concept with someone that I'm teaching. I absolutely love both the Spanish and German languages and cultures associated with them and want to help you on your journey of discovering that love as well.
I first learned Spanish volunteering full-time in Hispanic communites in the eastern United States and then decided to pursue a degree in Spanish once I started university.
I started to learn German in high school and quickly excelled at it. I felt a real connection with the language and the people because I have a lot of ancestors from Germany, so I pursued a degree in German literature.
In 2019 I graduated with degrees in both German Literature and Spanish Studies after spending 2 years working as an online language tutor.

I begin by getting to know my students and where they're at with the subject. After that I talk to them about their goals and figure out how I can best help them and tailor my teaching and lessons to their needs.
