About Jameela

I've provided tutoring for many university students over the past two years both in-person and through online tutoring. Many of my clients leave with much more information than whenever they came, and they always talk about my upbeat attitude and how things were so much clearer after they leave from sessions with me.

I started tutoring by first simply helping to break down concepts to my friends, and when they told me that I was really good at that, I turned it into a career at my university where I've had great reviews.

About the lesson

First I get to know the student a little through general conversation.

Next, we move to create a plan for the session as far as what the student needs to cover with working through the most pressing or confusing topics first to moving on to things that are minor toward the end.

Lastly, after we've worked through the material, I give the client some problems and materials to work through on their own in order to reinforce their knowledge of what we worked on that day.

I've worked with all types of students ranging from older clients to those that may be a freshman in college to even high school students.

To find someone that is patient and thorough with relaying information and explaining it, and that also fits your specific learning style.
