About Brooke

Because I'm a current student, I can relate to your child, their academic experiences, interests, tools, and struggles too. I have first-hand knowledge of the current schooling system from both a student and instructor perspective. Both points of view will be used to foster and sustain your child's growth, while giving them all the support they need.

I love watching students grow and become more confident in their abilities. Those "aha moments" are what I strive for!

I have worked as a teacher's assistant in a third grade classroom, a neuroscience & biology class, and have done private tutoring since middle school. I was also a member of my school's National Honor Society (NHS), as well as holding leadership positions in other extracurriculars.
Most importantly, my current experience as a student lends itself to relating to pupils & understanding what it requires to be a well-rounded student in today's day and age.

About the lesson

When working with a new student, I prefer to get to know them and establish good rapport, ensuring that they are comfortable and ready to learn! Secondly, we discuss areas of concern and what makes those topics challenging. From there, I create individualized plans to strengthen those weaker areas to better prepare the student in that subject area.

I have worked with students of all ages, including those with special needs in school.
