About Jayden

My service stands out because im young and I can relate with the students who are studying a new language. Lets face it, languages are difficult to learn. I will not only make it fun but also educational.

It pleases me to know that I can help give other people more opportunities to enhance their lives with another language.

I lived in Peru for a while and speaking/sharing spanish brings back sweet memories of a country that I love.

When I lived in Peru I fell in love with teaching english and other things to the natives. Teaching is an opportunity to share and help others grow. It amazes me to see the gears click and lights turn of for the students. It is a kind of satisfaction I wanted to continue by teaching the spanish I learned.

I lived in Peru for two years and taught engish there once a week.

About the lesson

I understand that learning a new language can be very difficult and frustrating. I spent years in Peru learning spanish and i can promise that I will be patient with my students and will do my best to lift them up. I will teach you the basics of the language and we will work from there progressing only forward.

I have worked with shy students and outgoing. I am comfortable teaching both kinds.

I have also worked with the stubborn, frustrated, and prideful students and I have found ways to help them with their needs.

You should look for a teacher who cares for the individuals success; Who will be patient with you when you are struggling. A teacher who will look for new ways to teach you when you still don't understand what they are trying to teach you.

When I was teaching in Peru,
The students were having trouble pronouncing english words and phrases correctly. I told the natives that in english we talk more with our throats. I told the class that from now on we would yell english words, phrases, and sentences. In this way the pronunciation would sound better. It amused me because it worked.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Anything we have talked about before in class. If the student has payed attention and taken notes they should be able to recall it. If they have really put effort and thought it out then it will help.
