About Gracy

I’m a professional educator and native of the beautiful country Costa Rica, currently residing in Florida, USA. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education from American University of Costa Rica and I have over 25 years of experience teaching individuals of all ages, from 3 years old children to high school students and adults. I am also fluent in English.

Through our journey together, I am a dedicated to working closely with each student to tailor our lessons to your personal goals, linguistics needs, and learning strengths. Using a phonetic and comprehensive- input teaching approach, I will focus on developing your speaking skills, writing abilities, reading comprehension, and listening proficiency and grammar skills. Emphasis will be placed on practical, real world conversation skills, ensuring you can confidently engage in Spanish- speaking environments. By fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment, my aim is for you to not only master the mechanics of Spanish but also to cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation for the language’s cultural richness.

I am very enthusiastic, intelligent, creative, humble, empathetic and good listener, with a genuine interest, vocation and knowledge for teaching. My open- minded approach allows me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds, understanding their unique needs and adapting my methods accordingly.

I would love to share you my knowledge, language, culture, and my beautiful country through teaching. As a teacher, my goal is to prepare students for real- world interactions and academic pursuits, helping them become bilingual or polyglot individuals who experience the amazing feeling of fluently sharing their thoughts with confidence and pride.
