Being a student in college, during homework learned about ways to aarn 'As".There after a teacher mentioned if you pass any class, you can teach it. That was my motivator. I signed up to be a mentor for 3rd grade to 6th grade for a whole year, Taught them to be speed readers. A few decades later, I signed up to be a church teacher twice a week for a year. Used my study skills to teach the children from kindergarden to 3rd graders. There was a time in which I had to teach them in 30 minutes for a testing on a prayer. Out of the 19 students, only one did not pass.

I have learned that there are different learning skills, depends on the student and the subject, they can learn.

Introduction on both of us and explain what will be the learning process. Let them know how much in control they are to their learning process.

I have learned to work with students that thought they could not learn by motivating them and letting them know how smart they were. The different students learned by hearing, seeing, and doing.  I have had students that are talkative and quiet or inbetween.

There are different kinds of Spanish spoken from different regions. Understand that there are variety ways to say one thing. Most important, is to use the one the teacher at school is using, because he/she is the one grading. I learned this from a writing that I did, during college" Why is Spanish differnt?"

The celebration of Cinco de Mayo. They have a parade of colorful outfits and music. Some Mexican food booths and folkloric dancing on stage. Live Mexican bands singing songs, too,

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Who, what, when, where, how and why to the subject to be tested on for class.

Sometimes a teacher will have a syllybus, ready to share. for the next day or week.
