About Gonzalo
I've always had a passion for teaching. It is something that I consider to be extremely important and fulfilling because I am passing knowledge onto other people while feeling happy about it.
I will help students reach their goals by being thorough and patient in my explanations and being consistent with my teaching methods. When it comes to teaching a language, I believe the best way to do that is to not switch to the student's native language so that they constantly listen to the language I am teaching and that way thoroughly learn it while having fun.
I have been doing this for two years now at Fitchburg State University, where I have been helping freshmen and sophomores with courses like Precalculus and Spanish.
I made my five students get the following GPAs: two 3.5 and three 4.0.
(concealed information)
To see the progress in other people as they improve their new foreign language skills and use them communicate with others properly. Passing on my knowlegde onto others is a beautiful way of spending my time, because I get to see others enjoy it and use it to their benefit

The student and I go through all the questions they might have together, and then I help them find the answer by asking them questions and making them think about the answer. With a new student, I always make sure that they know they can ask anything they need to know

I would recommend Gonzalo as a tutor to anyone. Not only does he know the language inside and out but is willing to go the extra mile to help in any way he can. Anytime that I have dealt with Gonzalo in a professional setting I was always impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness he displayed towards me and other peers. He is a reliable and trustworthy person and tutor. Gonzalo is personable and professional, anyone would be lucky to work with him.
Gonzalo is a very kind, genuine individual--he is a pleasure to work with! He is reliable, compassionate, and understanding. He gives 110% to the projects he commits to.
Gonzalo really wanted me to learn, so he spent a lot of time with me on the things I had trouble with. He was very patient and calm even when I was getting frustrated from messing up. He's a great teacher and anyone who has him is lucky!!
