About Kara
I enjoy learning myself so watching others learn makes my job as an edit even more excited about teaching.
My two degrees are within the education arena so I love to bring knowledge to students and see it grow into more knowledge. My license is in special education so that would be my speciality.
It has been the one goal I have had my whole life. I would pretend teach my stuff animals when I was a child. I have taught my own children. I just always knew I wanted to be a teacher.
I have a bachelor's. Degree in early childhood education and a master's degree in special education. I am currently working as an my aide in an elementary school. I worked at a day program in Columbus, Ohio for 12 years with special needs adults.

When I work with a student I like to ask questions and get know the student. Find out what areas they need help in and work with them . It comes down to trail and error to see what works best.
I have worked with students from age three to adults. I have worked with students with intellectual disabilities . I have worked with adults of all ages in the field of intellectual disabilities.

Details
I charge 30 dollars for an hour session. This price includes planning time prior to the session as well as traveling. The price would go up to 35 dollars if traveling outside a ten mile radius of my home.
