About Kaysie
I have been swimming competively for over 12 years. I also obtained my Water Saftey Instructor (WSI) Certification when I was in college. I have experience with all levels of swimmers, ranging from toddlers to adults.
The main important thing about learning how to swim in trust. No matter what age whether that be for toddlers or adults it can be a scary thing to learn, especially if you have had previous traumatic experinces in or around water. I first want to earn people's trust before I expect anything from my learners. I do not teach by just throwing someone in the water, i will teach you to feel comfortable with the water with different drills and excercises I have learned throughout my training and experience with others.
I am not here to judge anyone who does not know how to swim, adults are fully welcomed to learn how to swim with me.
I have swam competively for over 12 years. I know all four strokes as well as turns and diving and have many drills to perfect the stroke to become more efficent. In addition, I have obtained my Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification and can teach at any level.

Since I am able to teach all levels of swimmers, I will want to evaluate thier level of expertise first regardless if they are new to swimming or not. I will also check the swimmers comfort level with water. I will ask what is the main goal. Whether that be to learn how to swim better and become more effiecent, to swim for leisurely sake or to survive in water without fear of it.
