About Ric
My Grandfather and my Dad, got me started.
Teaching myself. The first part of my game I began working on was my ball toss for my serve. This helped me develop a good toss and a good serve that grew and developed for years.
I've been playing and teaching tennis for 50+ years. I have always enjoyed sports of all kinds. I started playing tennis with my family when I was about 10. I played USTA Junior events during my teens. Played in High School. Played in college. Started teaching in college. Received a BA Education and Physical Ed. Taught and managed a tennis club for 10 years.

Making sure they understand what a simple strategy is. This simple strategy is the controlling of the ball and establishing a rally. We will work on how to establish a rally and learn practices that will reinforce consistency and the controlling of the ball. We will also work on producing and early contact point and the specifics that occur at your contact point. Practices will be reviewed so students can practice at home as well as on the court.
All ability levels from Complete Beginners to Advanced Players.
I haven't been recently, but I used to love going to the U S Open, in New York City.
