About Heather Kaye

I specialize in working with adult violinists newbie to pro who want to improve their violin technique and tone in the shortest amount of time possible. Adult classical violinists who understand that foundation is key and are searching for a teacher to guide them in playing without tension would benefit the most from working with me.

I love guiding violinists to breakthroughs not achievable alone. My students have called me the violinist miracle worker. It is enjoyable for me to work with violinists willing to make subtle but consistent changes resulting in huge long term impact on their playing.

I help violinists break down their goals to manageable bites with organized practice routines. Consider me your violin technique personal trainer.

I have been teaching violin online and in person for over twenty years with students winning multiple concerto competitions, state awards and soloing at Carnegie Hall.

Currently, I hold a full time section first violin position with Yambol Chamber Orchestra, Bulgaria. Before performing professionally as a classical violinist in Bulgaria, I performed with over 25 orchestras in the greater Chicago Milwaukee area as. Concertmaster, assistant concertmaster, principal second and section violin.

I received my Bachelors of Music degree from the University of Colorad at Boulder where I studies with Ozzie Lehmert, Jennifer John and Harold Wippler. My post university studies were with concert violinist, Rachel Barton Pine.
