So, Paulo was my first lessons teacher and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better. He taught me most of the basics and helped me create a strong foundation to improve upon: relaxed bow hand/arm, vibrato, positions, 3-octave scales, some sight reading, expressiveness. (sprinkle in some music theory) He taught all this while being patient and pushing me to be my best. 10 out of 10 would recommend for anyone who is considering.

The best teacher I have ever had hands down! I am completely new at violin at the age of 24 and have made great progress because of Paulo. He’s so sweet and easy to talk to, I always feel so encouraged and confident during our lessons. Very genuine and patient, especially with a beginner such as myself which made me feel very comfortable. Be prepared to surprise yourself! I’m still fairly new but can hear such a difference in how I play.

Paulo is very patient and upbeat! He has always been so encouraging and has taught me how to be a better teacher and violinist. There’s never been a boring time with him.

Paulo is an excellent instructor! Energetic and prepared. My sister (middle school) and I (college) both took lessons from him so he can certainly teach all ages. He made me and my sister feel comfortable and relaxed. Both of us left our lessons feeling like we had definitely learned and improved and knew how to practice. Would definitely recommend!
