About Misha

As a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music, Colburn Conservatory, and the USC Thornton School of Music, I look to pass on the great lessons and traditions of violin playing I've learned over the course of my career as a concert artist and pedagogue. We will work together to create a personalized curriculum, and progress at a pace that matches your comfort levels and your goals.

I've had the pleasure of teaching a regular private studio, and have given masterclasses nationally and internationally.

I love getting to know my students, and am very reachable outside of lesson times for questions, advice, and funny links! Please feel free to message me.

About the lesson

I tailor lessons to suit the needs of the student- please reach out to me and describe your situation.

My students range from beginners all the way to professionals, all age groups.

I've had students who lead international teaching programs themselves, students being accepted to renowned international pre-college programs such as Junior Guildhall UK, and students who just want to learn violin for fun!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Please let me know the following:

Your goals with violin.

Your prior experience with violin.

The number/type of lessons you are looking for. E.G once a week, twice a week, twice a month, etc. I will let you know how that corresponds to your goals.

And please send me a video recording if you are above beginner level- it can be of anything, but two contrasting pieces preferred (slow/fast). Iphone video quality is fine.
