About Marc

Creative jazz & blues trombone & voice for any level

as a child in texas, his mother taught marc to sing. he studied classical and jazz trombone in seattle and in los angeles with stu dempster (and dijeridu), julian priester, ken cloud & slide hampton. voice, with jay clayton (jazz), yo jin chong (korean) & ki wasitodipuro (javanese).

marc enjoys teaching trombone and jazz vocal privately and in school workshops.

b.f.a. - california institute of the arts and a board member of international federation of musicians local 76-493.

Started teaching a few music classes & trombone workshops in the Bay Area in the 1970s, continuing trombone & vocal instruction in the Seattle area .

Singing since 6 years of age & studying trombone over 60 years. Teaching & performing over 50 years on U.S. west coast and around the planet.
