About Sydney

I have 8 years of childcare experience between summer camps, tutoring, babysitting, and working at a school. I started tutoring to save money for grad school so that I can become a full-time teacher. Encouraging and inspiring children is my biggest passion and I can't wait to help your student thrive in the classroom.

About the lesson

I approach each child differently; some need step-by-step guidance through each equation and others need somebody to help them stay on task. No matter your child's needs, I'm happy to provide positive and encouraging assistance.

I currently work at a school so I'm familiar with standard math curriculum. I tutor math up to 8th grade. I occasionally do high school math, but the majority of my experience is focused on younger students.
