About Katerina

Hi, my name is Katerina! I am a native Russian speaker from Estonia currently living and working in London. My journey as a tutor started back in 2018 when I helped GCSE students to prepare for their exams. Since then I moved to Leeds to study at the University for a finance degree and as my part-time job continued to teach and help more than 35 people (students, professionals and children). I am 22 years old, sincere, supportive and an enthusiastic person.

About the lesson

My teaching approach includes a lot of flexibility to meet the learning style of the student and assist with any issues that arise. The aim is to create a deep understanding and confidence whether it is tackling exam questions or just mastering new and unfamiliar information. Grammar lessons, reading literature, speaking practice with me as a native and proofreading of any written works are available. Lessons are targeted, efficient, bespoke and engaging. Contact me for any further questions :)

Melinda

I would wholeheartedly recommend Katerina as a fantastic teacher of Russian with a passion for teaching the subject. Her patient, helpful, and encouraging way of teaching me was life-changing in terms of speaking. When I asked her questions, she instantly explained with no judgement, and I felt beyond comfortable learning from her. She was always well prepared for the lessons, and her professionalism, fun-nature, and easy explanations made learning extremely enjoyable. I would 100% recommend Katerina to anyone trying to learn Russian successfully.
