About Lexi
I am a professional violinist graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of music bachelor degree for violin performance. And pursued the masters degree in Toronto under the concert master of TSO--Jonathan Crow.
I have done many performances in China, Singapore, Italy, Germany, and Toronto. These performances include solo performances, chamber music, and orchestra's including Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
I have many years of experience in teaching (including 2 years full time teaching in Singapore). I taught in China, Singapore and Toronto, and students of all ages. I have taught both privately and in music schools. I am not only an easy going teacher, but also a very responsible teacher who makes sure my students are learning and making progress while having fun with music.

In the first lesson I would like to understand where the students playing level is at. After I get a good understanding, I will start preparing the proper pieces and exercises for the student to play and learn. Suzuki is the method I would use for beginners, I will also be happy to help with orchestra excerpts for those are playing in their school orchestra, or continuing working on RCM exams.
