Experienced Young Adult Novelist Offering Lessons in English - English tutor with Denise

I am writing to you regarding Denise Dowdell-Stent. I have known Denise personally for over 4 years, and have always considered her to be an articulate, caring and responsible individual.
Denise and I initially met through our children, but we quickly found a common interest in supporting both individuals on the autism spectrum and those with learning differences. In terms of learning differences and meeting individual needs, I have witnessed Denise positively advocating for family members and friends alike. Denise’s support has been exemplary; she is supportive, whilst encouraging those around her to self-reflect and develop confidence in their own voices. I believe these skills will make Denise an excellent candidate for the role of one to one in-home private tutor at this site; I am certain that Denise will easily be able to adapt to the needs of her tutees, putting together individualised learning programmes and resources which play to their strengths.
When I first met Denise she was working as an author, writing and successfully publishing very creative fiction novels for young adults; she is an eloquent writer quickly drawing the reader into her stories with her dynamic characterisations and descriptive prose. From her books, I believe that Denise relates very well to her intended audience, which, in turn, would translate well into her role as a private tutor working with the young people. Denise seems to have a good understanding of human psychology, in particular young adults.
I understand that Denise has put her own marketing programme together to promote her novels, both in the UK and abroad. This has included the making and direction of promotional short films, for which Denise has won several awards, including being runner up at the 2107 St. Neots Film Festival. Denise is creative, conscientious and determined in all of her roles, and would, in my opinion, be an asset to this site.
