About Jonathan
I have played bassoon all my life and am now in my final year of a bachelor's degree in classical music and music pedagogy at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. I have worked as a teacher in both Sweden and Norway and worked as a musician in various bands, orchestras and ensembles at countless concerts, ceremonies, weddings and other musical events. Improvisation permeates my entire music making so I am not afraid of unfamiliar situations or new challenges.
Since I study pedagogy, the meeting with you becomes extra important for me and my development as a teacher and we both learn from each other. I call it win-win!
I look forward to hearing from you so do not hesitate to hear from you whether it is to play solo over Giant Steps, learn the bass line to Smoke on the Water or practice tips on the excerpt from the overture to Figaro's Wedding!

My methodology is based on musical joy, curiosity and passion. As a music teacher student, I adapt the content to your needs and interests, what you want to get out of the lessons and what goals you want to achieve. Then we continue to work together.
I teach everything that has to do with bassoon as well as music theory and sight reading if desired. I also offer beginner courses in piano or electric bass.
I think that music is something for everyone and that really everyone can learn music. I'm interested in learning about your relationship with music and your musicality.
