About Yasmin

I am a French tutor with over 3 years of teaching experience and a PhD in French Linguistics. My passion lies in working with teenagers aged 13 to 18 and helping them connect to French in ways that feel alive and relevant. Instead of relying only on textbooks, I bring French youth culture into lessons. Popular music, teen films, and social media trends often form the basis of our conversations. This approach helps students see French as something current and relatable. I also specialize in teaching contemporary slang, so learners understand the language as it is really spoken by their peers. Building conversational fluency is always at the core of what I do. My lessons are dynamic, engaging, and full of cultural insights. Students not only learn how to speak French, but also how to feel part of the culture. I focus on making the learning process memorable through context and creativity. Teenagers often tell me they look forward to lessons because they can express themselves freely.
