About Barry

I am a full time qualified teacher with a wealth of experience in delivering the full range of modules from Key Stage 3 (11+) to A-Level Further Mathematics in Pure, Statistics and Mechanics. I have several years of exceptional results from students who are now thriving at some of the best academic institutions in the world. In the last two years alone over 50% of the year 13 students I have taught were invited to interview for mathematically focused degree courses at Oxbridge.

I have a degree in Physics from the University of Glasgow after which I trained as a Secondary Mathematics teacher. As well as experience in the U.K. I have taught the best students in some of the top international schools in Asia.

I aim to make the best use of our time by explaining concepts while solving exam style questions together.

Perfect! Highly recommended
Barry is a great maths tutor. My 17 year old boy had a few lessons with him because he was getting frustrated with some of the concepts in his A level maths. Barry was knowledgeable and explained the difficult concepts very well.
Barry is friendly and easy to talk to which is immensely important for an intimidating subject like maths.
