About Selim
I'm an FAA-certified Advanced Ground Instructor and Instrument Ground Instructor with PPL and IR ratings, and I'm a CPL/CFI candidate. In addition, I'm a fourth-year materials science and engineering student at Illinois Institute of Technology with two technical operations and one airport operations internships at United Airlines. On a day-to-day basis, I'm highly involved with my flight school's CFI training pipeline, the tech ops and engineering operation at my Big 3 legacy airline, and I'm entering the world of aviation parts sales and maintenance after graduation from engineering. Given my CFI candidacy as well as my methodical, engineering-based approach, I offer a structural yet sensible option for those of you looking to maximize your ground knowledge leading to your pilot licensure.
